Frequently Asked Questions

Lines & Wrinkles Consultation

1. Do you offer treatments for lines and wrinkles?
Yes. We begin with a medical consultation to assess facial movement, anatomy and your individual goals. Where clinically appropriate, a prescription-only option may be discussed privately after a face-to-face assessment.
We do not advertise prescription-only medicines to the public. Full information, including how any recommended treatment works, expected effects, potential risks, and aftercare, is provided privately after consultation.
Please see View Treatments page for more information on the consultation and the Indicative price list.

2. Who might not be suitable for injectable or prescription-based treatments?
Certain medical conditions or circumstances may mean that some treatments are not appropriate. Please do not book a consultation if you are:

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Under 18 years of age

  • Currently experiencing active infection or inflammation in the treatment area

  • Have a known neuromuscular or neurological disorder

  • Have had a recent vaccination, surgery, or illness affecting your immune system

  • Have previously experienced allergic reactions to injectable products or their components

If you are unsure whether this applies to you, please contact us before booking. A full medical history and safety assessment will be undertaken at your consultation.

3. Where can I read the official rules about prescription-only treatments?
For official UK advertising guidance, you can visit the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) guidance on botulinum toxin
This explains why prescription-only medicines (such as botulinum toxin products) cannot be promoted directly to the public.

Dermal Fillers

1. What are dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers are injectable treatments that restore volume and smooth out wrinkles and folds. They are commonly used to enhance areas such as the cheeks, lips, and under the eyes. There are different types of filler and these are placed at different depths depending on the outcome required.

2. How long do dermal fillers last?
The longevity of dermal fillers varies depending on the type used and the area treated. On average, results can last from 6 months to over a year.

3. Are fillers safe?
Yes, dermal fillers are considered safe when administered by a qualified professional. Side effects are typically mild and may include swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection site.

4. Can I combine fillers with other treatments?
Absolutely! Some treatments can be combined to achieve a more comprehensive rejuvenation. A consultation will help determine the best approach for your goals and your clinician will advise.

5. What if I'm not satisfied with the results?
Some fillers, particularly those made from hyaluronic acid, can be reversed using an enzyme called hyaluronidase. This allows for adjustments if you're not completely satisfied with the outcome.

6. Who cannot have Dermal Fillers?
Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding or undergoing IVF. Anyone with an allergy to hyauloronic acid, lidocaine, wasp/bee stings. Autoimmune or connective tissue disorders. Anyone with a history of keloid scarring or poor wound healing. Current infection, recent facial surgery or active skin infection at the site. Ongoing dental infection or recent/upcoming dental surgery.

Aftercare & Recovery (non-POM treatments)

1. What should I avoid after treatment?
To ensure optimal results and minimise side effects, avoid the following for at least 24 hours post-treatment:

  • Strenuous exercise

  • Exposure to excessive heat (e.g., saunas)

  • Alcohol consumption

  • Touching or massaging the treated areas

These precautions help prevent complications and support the healing process.

2. Is there any downtime?
Most clients experience little to no downtime. You can typically resume normal activities immediately. However, some may experience minor swelling or bruising, which usually subsides within a few days.
