By booking an appointment or using our website, you agree to the following terms.
1. Website information & disclaimer
Content on this site is for general information only and is not medical advice.
Suitability, risks, and alternatives are always discussed at your consultation.
Results vary from person to person and cannot be guaranteed.
Prescription-only medicines (POMs): We do not advertise POMs (e.g., botulinum toxin) to the public. Any references are factual and non-promotional. Suitability is assessed in consultation with a prescriber.
2. Consultations & treatments
A £50 booking fee is required to secure all consultation appointments.
This fee is redeemable against the cost of your treatment if you proceed.
If you do not go ahead with treatment, the fee is not refundable.
Treatment will only go ahead after a full consultation and assessment with Dr Victoria Waight.
We may decline treatment if it is not safe or appropriate.
3. Age restrictions / Who we do not treat
We do not provide injectable treatments to anyone under 18, in line with UK law.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Individuals with certain medical conditions or contraindications, which will be discussed during your consultation.
4. Payments
Treatments are paid for in full on the day by card (via SumUp) or cash.
Card payments are processed securely through SumUp. We do not store card details.

Online booking fees and deposits are processed securely through Stripe.
Stripe is PCI DSS and GDPR compliant.
Stripe’s card processing fee is non-refundable.
5. Cancellations & lateness
Please let us know as soon as possible if you cannot attend.
Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in future bookings being refused or a deposit being required.
If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to carry out your treatment, and your booking fee may be forfeited.
Cancellation policy:
More than 5 days’ notice: Your £50 booking fee will be refunded, minus Stripe’s processing fee.
Less than 5 days’ notice or non-attendance: Your £50 booking fee will be forfeited.
6. Refunds
We cannot refund treatments once they have been provided.
Refunds are not offered for dissatisfaction with results where treatment has been provided safely and as agreed during consultation.
Refunds of booking fees will only be made in line with our cancellation policy above.
7. Aftercare
You will be given written aftercare instructions after your treatment. It is your responsibility to follow these.
8. Complaints
At Aurela by Dr Victoria Waight we are committed to providing the highest standards of care. If you are unhappy with any aspect of your treatment or service, please let us know so we can put things right. please contact us at drvwaight@gmail.com or call 01243 214 043.
We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and aim to resolve it within 20 working days.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may escalate your complaint to the Cosmetic Redress Scheme (CRS), an independent complaints resolution service of which we are a member.

Concerns relating to professional conduct or fitness to practise may also be raised with the General Medical Council (GMC).
We record all complaints for governance and review them regularly to improve our services. You will never be treated unfairly for raising a concern.
9. Intellectual property
All text, branding, and images on this site belong to Aurela by Dr Victoria Waight and must not be copied without permission.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so (including liability for negligence).
Otherwise, our liability is limited to the cost of the treatment provided.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to its courts.
