Why Choose a Doctor-Led Aesthetics Clinic?
When I first started Aurela Aesthetics, I wanted to create a safe medical space where patients could feel fully informed and empowered to make safe decisions. I’ve met many patients who are unsure where to start with aesthetic treatments or who may not know where is safe to go. Choosing a doctor-led clinic means every decision is guided by medical training, ethics, and evidence, not sales or trends. All doctors must follow the GMC guidance on cosmetic interventions which sets clear standards for safety and consent.
What makes a doctor-led clinic different?
As a doctor, I’ve spent years studying, which means I can assess not just your skin, but your overall health and suitability for treatment. My duty is to prioritise safety and to say no when something isn’t appropriate or if the risks outweigh the benefits.
I don’t believe in exaggerated looks or trendy looks which people may live to regret. I believe in subtlety to enhance your natural beauty. It is the small changes that can have big impacts. If someone can say you look amazing/younger but are unable to pin point the exact change, then you know you are doing it well. These changes take time and patience. Slowly building on what you have, whilst also focusing on skin-care to ensure optimal skin health. Skin is important, it is a visual marker of overall health, and wellbeing, people want the best out of their skin.
Putting safety and transparency first
Every consultation includes discussion of medical history, risks, and alternatives. I’ll always give you time to think before making any decisions. My role is to help you feel confident, and I advise time away to consider if ever you are unsure, it is not worth rushing things that involve your face.
Patients can verify cosmetic practitioner credentials on the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) register; an independent database for regulated aesthetics professionals in the UK.
Patients can also verify doctors credentials on the GMC by searching their name.
I have started Aurela Aesthetics on the belief that treatment should complement, not change, who you are.
